Lowson Church
A gem of a church designed by A Marshall Mackenzie 1914. In the style of late Scots Gothic, cruciform in shape with five-bay nave, aisleless transepts and a one-bay chancel. Built of a ruddy-hued local stone. Low central tower and squat spire. Wooden wagon roof. Excellent stained glass including windows by Douglas Strachan.
